His passion for learning and technology led him to earn degrees in robotics, mechatronics, and automation, but it was his love for teaching that ultimately defined his professional journey. Whether in the classroom, laboratory, or community events, Nick possessed a unique ability to inspire confidence and ignite curiosity in those around him.
As Chairman of the Journeyman Machining Technology Program and Chairman/Assistant Professor for the Robotics and Electronics Engineering Technology Program at Westmoreland County Community College’s Advanced Technology Center, he dedicated himself to preparing future generations for success. His students remember him as a patient teacher, a trusted mentor, and someone who genuinely believed in their potential. His involvement with Bots IQ and technical education initiatives further demonstrated his commitment to helping young people discover their talents and pursue meaningful careers.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Nick’s greatest pride and joy came from his family. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Chelsea, and a loving father to Charlotte and Benjamin, who were the center of his world. Those who knew him often spoke about the unmistakable joy that filled his face whenever he was with his children. He embraced fatherhood wholeheartedly, cherishing every moment spent creating memories with his family.
Nick’s unwavering faith was the foundation of his life. As an active member of Pleasant Unity United Methodist Church, he faithfully served his congregation and encouraged others to strengthen their relationship with God. His kindness, humility, generosity, and servant’s heart reflected the values he held dear and the faith he lived out daily.
